16 months already!

In fact, Grant and Owen are just a few days shy of 17 months. We have seen such big changes in the past few months. The boys are really starting to play with each other and keep one another entertained. Playing cars, chasing each other and riding their ponies are all favorite past times at this point. Steve and I bundled them up in their snowsuits for the first time last weekend and took them out in the snow. They loved being outside but would rather run up and down the driveway than pay attention to the snow. Winter has been tough though. Owen and Grant absolutely love being outside so we are keeping our fingers crossed for an early spring, regardless of what that groundhog said.
Nighttime has been difficult again; I’m blaming it on molars this time. I swear these boys have been teething nonstop from about 5 months on! But the more teeth they get the longer it takes to brush them and let me tell you….they love to have their teeth brushed! Especially at the end when we brush their tongues, hysterical!
Boys, I love watching you grow up and evolve into the little people that you are…but I wish you wouldn’t grow up so fast. Life really does get away from you if you don’t stop to pay close attention. There isn’t a week that goes by that I don’t tear up watching you do something new, whether it’s drink out of a sippy cup, give one another a hug, dance to a favorite song or point to your belly button! I hope you both always keep your joyful nature, and your zest for life in general…and maybe even a bit of that naughtiness!
